It's A Beautiful Life
Yesterday, after church, I treated myself to a wonderful lunch at Olive Garden with six good friends. I went on the thought that it is a good thing to indulge yourself once in awhile. And I did.
Olive Garden is one of my favorite restaurants. I rarely go because it is somewhat expensive, but the food is wonderful. I had fettucine Alfredo, salad with vinegar dressing and fresh Parmesian cheese, and breadsticks. Yum.
During lunch, Brian Booker told us about his trip to Hawaii. We also told about things we wanted to do before we die. I told them I wanted to be a bridesmaid, travel to France, and get married and have two kids. Brian Mays is determined that Brian Booker is gonna have triplet girls. (Of course, he is also determined that I was riding my break when I was ACTUALLY going 5 miles an hour over the speed limit, but that's neither here nor there.)
Last night, me, G and Misti talked about what kind of wedding we would like. I have been thinking about the subject of weddings a lot the last few days, for some reason. I spent the afternoon yesterday looking at bridal magazines. (Incidentally: in one of them, there was a lady with a big Rose of Sharon arrangement on her head! No kidding!) Here's what I have decided:
1.) My colors are gonna be deep, clear blue and white, with touches of lavender
2.) I want my bridesmaids to wear blue dresses and carry white roses. I either want their hair up, or in long curls.
3.) Not sure where I want my wedding. I don't want a destination wedding, because I don't want my wedding guests to take out a second mortgage to attend. I was thinking maybe Cole's Garden.
That's all I have decided for now. Now all I need's a groom. :-)
In other news, I have decided I am officially going on the rappelling trip. Now whether or not I actually go rappelling is something I haven't decided yet. I am somewhat afraid to go.
